Аннотация. В статье обоснована актуальность внеурочной деятельности, раскрыто понятие образовательного квеста, определены этапы, необходимые для его подготовки и проведения. Авторами представлен образовательный квест, основанный на произведении Роберта Льюиса Стивенсона «Остров сокровищ».

Обучение английскому языку по ФГОС начинается со второго класса начальной школы. В этот период важно не только научить основам языка, владению на элементарном уровне фонетическому, лексическому и грамматическому аспектам, а также видам речевой деятельности: чтению, письму, аудированию и говорению, но и заинтересовать школьников в освоении иностранным языком, поддержать желание учить язык и в основной и старшей школе. В этом возрасте легко заинтересовать детей через игровую деятельность, игры-инсценировки и игры-драматизации, познавательно-развивающие игры [2]. Для более успешного погружения в иностранный язык педагог организовывает внеурочную деятельность, которая, являясь составной частью учебно-воспитательного процесса, способствует развитию творческих способностей учеников, созданию благоприятных условий личностного роста в плане формирования социокультурных, лингвистических, метапредметных компетенций. Преимуществом внеурочной деятельности, по сравнению с учебной деятельностью в целом, является добровольный характер участия и учет интересов и потребностей школьников. Все это требует от педагога определенного уровня подготовки к наиболее эффективной ее организации [3]. По мнению Гальсковой Н.Д. внеурочная деятельность создает условия «для развития творческих интересов детей», обеспечивает «соответствующую возрасту адаптацию ребенка в образовательной организации» [1, с. 364]. Как отмечает Трубицина О.И. такая деятельность «характеризуется более гибкой, по сравнению с урочной деятельностью, палитрой организационных форм проведения, большой самостоятельностью учащихся, что положительным образом сказывается на повышении познавательной активности» [5, с. 322]. К наиболее распространённым видам внеурочной деятельности учащихся по иностранному языку можно отнести: кружки, воспитательные мероприятия, проектную деятельность по иностранному языку, виртуальные туры, спектакли / сказки, олимпиады по иностранным языкам, проведение Недели иностранных языков (английского языка), веб-квесты. [7].
В данной статье пойдет речь об образовательном квесте на английском языке для учеников четвертого класса начальной школы.
Квест, как жанр компьютерных игр, предполагает последовательное решение различных задач и головоломок, для достижения конечной цели. В настоящее время на рынке развлечений представлены различные «живые квесты», перенявшие концепцию компьютерных квестов, однако действие их происходит в реальности. Квесты являются достаточно популярным развлечением среди школьников, поэтому грамотно созданные образовательные квесты помогут привлечь учащихся к изучению предмета.
Образовательный квест – это сюжетная ролевая педагогическая технология, предусматривающая достижение участниками заданной цели в результате выполнения определенных заданий [8], [9].
Разработка квеста происходит в следующей последовательности. Для начала необходимо оценить материальную базу: будет ли квест рассчитан на одно классное помещение, либо он будет проходить в нескольких помещениях, есть ли возможность использования реквизита и различных технических устройств. Далее нужно определить целевую аудиторию, продолжительность квеста, его тематику и итог. Так как разрабатывается образовательный квест, необходимо определить его образовательные цели. Следующим этапом необходимо охарактеризовать общий сюжет. Затем разрабатывается конкретный сценарий и задания. Желательно, чтобы задания были интересны для разных групп участников: включить интеллектуальные и подвижные игры. По итогу вносятся корректировки в готовый план и проводится квест [2], [8], [9].
На основе изученного материала нами был разработан квест по произведению Роберта Льюиса Стивенсона «Остров сокровищ». Помимо практики английского языка ученики приобщатся к шотландской литературе.
При составлении данного сценария мы опирались на оригинальное произведение [6], его адаптацию [10] и одноименный фильм Фрейзера Кларка Хестона. Участникам квеста можно предложить заранее ознакомиться с произведением: прочитать роман или посмотреть экранизацию.
Квест рассчитан по времени на два урока, на аудиторию из учеников четвёртого класса. В ходе квеста участники выполняют задания, чтобы помочь главным героям найти сокровище.
Аудиторию, где будет проводиться мероприятие, можно украсить согласно тематике квеста: повесить плакаты, купить или сделать своими руками атрибутику.
Для выполнения квеста, согласно представленному ниже сценарию, понадобится проектор или смарт-доска для показа скриншотов из фильма и компьютер или телефон для воспроизведения звуков.
Сценарий квеста:
We start our adventure from the «Admiral Benbow» inn, where Jim Hawkins lived, and his father was an owner of that inn.
One day an old sailor came to their inn and decided to stay there. His name was Captain, and he held an old box with him. Captain asked Jim to look if an old sailor with one leg would come to the inn. Captain promised a good pay, but he didn’t pay anything.
Days went by and one day a sailor with only three fingers came to the inn. His name was Black Dog, and he was looking for his friend Billy or so-called Captain. Captain and Black Dog were talking, but then they started to fight. Black Dog ran away, and Captain had a heartache. Soon after that Captain told Jim about Black Dog and other pirates, who wanted his old box. The next day Jim’s father died.
Several days later a blind man came to the inn. He wanted to see Captain. Blind man gave something to Captain and went away. Captain cried «Ten o’clock» and then died.
Jim and his mother were searching for help in the nearest village, but nobody wanted to help them. So that, family decided to go back to the inn. They found Captain’s box and opened it.
Now you should help Jim’s mother to get her money from the box. There are four kinds of coins: doubloons, louis d’ors, guineas and piastres. Jim’s mother is an honest woman, so she wants to take only what her family deserve for their work. There you see a table with the cost of all coins. Captain had to give Jim’s mother 100 guineas. Try to get that cost, but no less or more.

Pirates are coming! While you were counting coins, Jim took some papers from the box. Now he and his mother are going away from the inn.
The family is sitting under the bridge. Jim see that the blind man named Blind Pew and other pirates are coming in the inn. They are looking for the Captain Flint’s map but can’t see it anywhere.

Listen! Somebody is coming and the pirates are running away. It’s people from the village with an officer.
Jim decided to go to Dr. Livesey to give him papers from the box. Dr. Livesey isn’t alone in his house, squire Trelawney is visiting him. After telling a story Jim wants to show papers to Dr. Livesey and Mr. Trelawney. Let’s see, what are these papers.
Комментарий: участникам выдается конверт с кусками карты внутри – её нужно собрать. В произведении написано, как выглядел конверт и карта [10, c. 9], карту нужно напечатать (можно найти изображение в книге или интернете), разрезать, убрать в конверт и дать собрать ученикам.
Mr. Trelawney knows about Captain Flint, and he wants to find a treasure.
So that Mr. Trelawney went to Bristol to find a ship and a crew. He sent a letter to Dr. Livesey. Let’s find out what did he write.
Комментарий: участники получают письмо, написанное невидимыми чернилами. Текст письма указан в адаптации произведения. [10, с. 9] В качестве невидимых чернил можно использовать лимонный сок, также можно сделать оттиск.
Jim and Dr. Livesey arrived in Bristol. Mr. Trelawney sent Hawkins to the «Spy Glass» inn where he could find John Silver. Jim found him. But look!

Do you remember that guy? It’s Black Dog! Jim recognized him!
Black Dog ran away. John Silver sent his people to find the pirate, but they lost him. John Silver decided to visit Mr. Trelawney and tell him about that unpleasant situation.
What do you think? Should we trust John Silver? Was it just a coincidence to meet Black Dog in the “Spy Glass”? We’ll know it later.
Preparing for sailing is in progress. Captain Smollett noticed that all sailors in the crew knew about the map and the treasure, and that was not good at all. Captain said to Mr. Trelawney that he had not to show the map to anyone. Mr. Trelawney didn’t like Captain’s remarks, but he decided to hide the map.
And now we are sailing to find the treasure. Days are passing by, and the crew is working great. Mr. Trelawney like to make crew happy, so he set a big barrel of apples on the ship.
This night Jim decided to go to get an apple from the barrel. He climbed inside and got it. But who is walking by? It’s John Silver. What is he talking about?

Everybody ran to see an island. Jim found Dr. Livesey and wanted to tell, what he just heard. Dr. Livesey brought together Captain Smollett and Mr. Trelawney.

Gentlemen decided to continue their trip and fight when pirates least expect that.
Hispaniola is near the island and sailors started to work very badly and act very angrily. Captain Smollett decided to let the crew explore the island. Pirates were very happy to hear that and most of them left the ship. Jim left with pirates. When they arrived, he ran away.
Jim is hiding behind the trees and see how John Silver is arguing with another pirate. And then Silver…

Jim is very scared, and he is running away from the killer. But something is following him. Jim is too tired to continue running so he is prepared to fight. It’s a man!
The man told Jim that his name was Ben Gunn. Pirates left him on the island three years ago. He asked Jim about the ship and said: if Mr. Trelawney helped Ben to get back home, Ben would help Mr. Trelawney too. Hawkins said that he couldn’t get back to the ship because he hadn’t got a boat. Ben Gunn offered Jim his boat.
Let’s go back to Hispaniola. While Jim was talking with Ben Gunn, Dr. Livesey and one of the loyal sailors – Hunter – were sailing to the island to find a fortress. They found a small blockhouse, that was of wood. Dr. Livesey decided to get back there with food and weapons.
Dr. Livesey returned to Hispaniola and loaded the boat. When everything was ready, Dr. Livesey invited Mr. Trelawney, Captain Smollett, and the loyal sailors to the boat. Now the crew is ready to sail away.
Sailing was going great, but pirates noticed the boat! They are ready to shoot!
Gentlemen need your help. Pass them through the maze to the island.

With your help everybody got to the island alive. But the cannonball broke the boat and gentlemen lost most of the food and guns. Pirates on the island noticed them. It’s time to run!
During the battle with pirates Mr. Trelawney shot one of the pirates and the pirate shot one of the loyal sailors – Redruth.
After getting to the blockhouse gentlemen set British flag. Pirates were bombarding the house, and nobody wanted to give up. Jim saw the flag and decided to go to the blockhouse. The crew was happy to see Jim because everyone thought that he was dead. Hawkins told them about his adventure and, also, about Ben Gunn.
The next morning John Silver, now so-called Captain John Silver, came to the blockhouse with white flag. Captain Smollett commanded to get guns and be prepared to fight.
John Silver offered Captain Smollett a deal: if pirates got the map, they won’t kill Captain Smollett with the crew, and gentlemen might sail home with pirates or stay on the island. Captain Smollett didn’t agree and said, that pirates couldn’t find the treasure without the map and, also, they couldn’t sail the ship without Captain Smollett. John Silver became very angry and promised to kill every member of the expedition.
Gentlemen prepared for fighting and started to wait. Listen! Pirates are shooting!

With your help gentlemen won the battle and pirates went back to the beach. However, Captain Smollett is injured and two loyal sailors – Hunter and Joyce – are dead. As a result, nine pirates and four crew members are survived.
Next day Dr. Livesey left the blockhouse to meet Ben Gunn. Jim got tired of staying in there, so he decided to run away and find Ben Gunn’s boat. He found it soon, the boat was very light and small. Jim decided to sail to Hispaniola tonight and cut the anchor’s rope.
Now Jim is sailing to Hispaniola, and he needs your help. There are pirates on the Hispaniola, and they can notice Jim. Also, sailing this small boat is a very difficult process.

Ведущему необходимо в любой момент (до финиширования участников) резко развернуться. Участники, которые не успели застыть, выбывают.
With your help Jim got to the Hispaniola and cut the rope. The trip was very stressful, and Jim fell asleep in the boat.
When Hawkins got up, he saw, how Hispaniola was heading right towards his little boat. When the ship was ready to crush it, Jim quickly caught the rope’s tail and climbed on the board. He saw two pirates. One of them was dead, and another one – Israel Hands – was badly hurt. Jim wanted to sail the ship to the North Inlet, and Hands had to agree to help him.
As soon as the ship got to the Inlet, Hands took his knife to attack Jim from behind, but Hawkins turned around in time. Jim climbed along the sails, but Israel Hands followed him. Hands threw his knife at Jim and Hawkins shot back. Hands dropped dead into the sea and Jim survived.
After the fight Hawkins decided to leave Hispaniola and get to the blockhouse.
It’s very dark in the island’s jungle at night and Jim needs your help to go through it.

With your help Jim came to the blockhouse. When Hawkins got in, somebody caught him and lighted a fire. The house was full of pirates!
Captain John Silver offered Jim to join the pirates, but Hawkins said no. Jim also told pirates, that they were losers: they had no ship, no treasure and many of their squad were dead; and moreover, that happened because of him. Pirates were very angry at Jim and wanted to kill him. But John Silver stopped them. Pirates didn’t like that and went away to talk to each other. While other pirates were talking, John Silver told Jim, that he knew he lost that battle and he only wanted to save his life. Jim promised John Silver to do all he could to help him not to die when they would get back from the island.
Finally pirates gave something to Captain. It’s a Black Spot! What is it about?
All letters are messed up. You should find a word, that pirates wrote.

So that pirates say that Captain John Silver isn’t Captain anymore.
After that, John Silver got mad and showed pirates the map of the treasure island. He got the map from Dr. Livesey. Pirates quickly changed their decision and John Silver became Captain John Silver again.
The next morning Dr. Livesey came to the blockhouse to see sick pirates. When Doctor saw Jim he asked Hawkins: why did he joined the pirates? Jim told everything and, also, about the hidden Hispaniola. But when Dr. Livesey asked Jim to run away with him, Jim said no.
After Dr. Livesey’s visit pirates with Jim went for searching the treasure. They were looking for a tall tree. After passing half a mile, they found sailor’s skeleton. Pirates were scared to see that, but John Silver commanded to continue searching.
After a while everyone heard a disgusting scary singing. Pirates got scared, because they thought, that it was Captain Flint’s voice. Then John Silver calmed everyone and said, that it was Ben Gunn’s voice. Searching moved on.
Soon pirates saw the tall tree and started to run. But they didn’t find any treasure. They only found a huge pit.
Pirates got mad and were ready to kill Captain, but someone started to shoot from the trees. It was Dr. Livesey and Ben Gunn! Pirates ran away!
It turns out that Ben Gunn found the treasure long time ago and hid it in his cave. That’s why Dr. Livesey gave John Silver the map.
Now everyone is going to the cave for the treasure.
And, of course, you also deserve it!

Создание и проведение образовательного квеста – трудоемкий, но увлекательный процесс. Использование данной технологии на уроке поможет развить интерес к обучению у школьников, позволит им раскрыть свои способности. Предложенный в статье квест может быть использован в группах продленного дня, во внеклассной работе по английскому языку, в конце учебного года.
